About Us

O’Neill Transfer & Storage was founded in 1920 and has been the Portland area’s first choice for moving and storage ever since.

• After three generations of O’Neill leadership, Bradley Boland, Sr. purchased the company in November 1998. 
• Boland Sr. began working for O’Neill when he was just in high school. 
• He spent his entire career with the company, and was a natural fit to eventually take over the business.
• Bob Gonzales, the head of sales for O’Neill, has been with the company since 1983.

It’s safe to say O’Neill has always been and always will be a family business.

There are only a handful of moving companies in the Portland area, and we are proud to be one of the few who started local and stayed local.

Giving Back to the Community

O’Neill Transfer and Storage has called Portland, Oregon home for over 100 years. We love the city we call home and want to continue to see Portland grow, which is why we value giving back to the community that has grown alongside us over the years. 

O’Neill Transfer and Storage is fortunate enough to make quarterly donations to 

• Portland’s Salvation Army and 
• the American Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Rooted in its motto and mission statement of “Doing the Most Good,” it is the Salvation Army’s goal to meet the local needs of a city. 

• The Salvation Army has built programs in 20 different locations throughout the greater Portland area to help residents in need, including 
  • Veterans Family Centers
  • Service Centers that provide food and nutrition resources
  • And many more
• We are so thankful to be fortunate enough to support the Salvation Army quarterly so they can continue to build exceptional programs throughout Portland.

The ASPCA does an enormous amount of work to improve animal welfare throughout the country. 

• They help people and pets to keep animals in their homes 
• They support animal relocation or protecting farm animals and advancing horse welfare

We are animal lovers here at O’Neill Transfer and Storage, so we are happy to support this fantastic cause in any way we can.
