I give this company 5 stars. The staff who packed my furniture, kitchen, glassware, and collectibles did a fabulous job. Only 1 glass was broken (I... had quite a few). They stored my things until I found my new home. The moving staff was also great. I couldn't believe how quickly the got everything into place. After reading enough reviews about horroble moves, one will inevitably become wary and expect the worst. Absolutely awesome team delivered my belongings efficiently and with care up to my third story apartment (with an elevator, but still). My mother-in-law‘s house sold in one day. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a long-distance mover with availability before her closing date. We... found one company who had a day available a month after closing, which we were lucky to get, but no availability to pick up her belongings and put them in storage. That left us in the difficult position of having to find a carrier who would be willing to pick up her furniture and hold it in storage for a month. We were very fortunate to find O’Neills. Not only were we able to snag the only day they had availability before the closing date, but the entire experience was positive. Geana and Betsy were very helpful, responding quickly to any of our questions or requests and were great at keeping us informed. The moving crew was very pleasant, careful with my mother-in-law‘s furniture and boxes and had the truck loaded in half the estimated time. All the furniture was carefully padded and we were given use of the pads at no additional cost with the only proviso that all of padding had to be returned at the time of the transfer to the second carrier. The furniture and boxes were in good condition and the transfer to our distance carrier was seamless. I highly recommend O’Neills and want to thank them for their help.read moreElaine K.

The guys were friendly, professional, and were in and out of my house in probably 10 minutes. The only reason I gave this company 4/5 stars is... because I was pretty disappointed to see neither of the guys wearing masks. I understand it’s a choice, however, we are in the middle of a global pandemic and you’re entering my house... of course I completely sanitized everything after they left. But come on, really? Their job is to go in and out of people’s homes. The least they could do is mask up. I’m surprised and again, disappointed that O’Neill doesn’t require them to wear them. O’Neil delivered a mattress we ordered from Costco. Their office called and scheduled a delivery window between 8:30-10:30 and the truck was at our... home right at 8:30 on the agreed upon delivery day. The delivery men had the mattress off the truck and inside our garage within 5 minutes. They would have brought the mattress inside and set it up but with the virus issues I preferred to do it myself. It wasn’t the 100% contactless experience I would have preferred because I had to sign the delivery receipt so they could work on that aspect of the process. Perhaps a phone call or email where I could confirm the delivery without touching anything. All in all a 100% good delivery experience with just slight room for improvement.read morekim G.

I was glad because basing the cost of a move purely on square footage is bad. We had outdoor furniture delivered that we ordered from Costco. We were given a two hour window. We cannot say enough good things about O’Neill Transfer and Storage Co Inc. of Beaverton, Oregon – affiliated with National Van Lines. O’Neill’s... President (Bradley Boland Sr.) came to our rescue after we had been bilked by an online Moving Broker (don’t ever make that mistake!). Anyway, it was the day of our scheduled move through the online broker and the price suddenly jumped $2,000. We “fired” them, but then were in a desperate spot as we (family of 3) had our plane tickets to leave the next day. We called O’Neill and spoke with Brad Boland Sr. who immediately came out, gave us the price and made arrangements for the move on the spot. O’Neill is a very professional company with great client communication. Everything was packed and moved to Buffalo NY in perfect condition and right on time.
