After reading enough reviews about horroble moves, one will inevitably become wary and expect the worst. Absolutely awesome team delivered my belongings efficiently and with care up to my third story apartment (with an elevator, but still). My mother-in-law‘s house sold in one day. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a long-distance mover with availability before her closing date. We... found one company who had a day available a month after closing, which we were lucky to get, but no availability to pick up her belongings and put them in storage. That left us in the difficult position of having to find a carrier who would be willing to pick up her furniture and hold it in storage for a month. We were very fortunate to find O’Neills. Not only were we able to snag the only day they had availability before the closing date, but the entire experience was positive. Geana and Betsy were very helpful, responding quickly to any of our questions or requests and were great at keeping us informed. The moving crew was very pleasant, careful with my mother-in-law‘s furniture and boxes and had the truck loaded in half the estimated time. All the furniture was carefully padded and we were given use of the pads at no additional cost with the only proviso that all of padding had to be returned at the time of the transfer to the second carrier. The guys were friendly, professional, and were in and out of my house in probably 10 minutes. The only reason I gave this company 4/5 stars is... because I was pretty disappointed to see neither of the guys wearing masks. I understand it’s a choice, however, we are in the middle of a global pandemic and you’re entering my house... of course I completely sanitized everything after they left. But come on, really? Their job is to go in and out of people’s homes. The least they could do is mask up. I’m surprised and again, disappointed that O’Neill doesn’t require them to wear them. Anyway, overall good more
