Bradley Boland
Bradley Boland, owner of O’Neill Transfer & Storage, has been a leader in the moving industry since 1976, when he began his career as a summer helper for an Allied Van Lines agent during high school. By 1978, he had obtained his CDL and started driving professionally, first running routes in California for three years and then moving to over-the-road trucking across 48 states for another four years.
In 1985, Bradley transitioned into operations with the same Allied Van Lines agent after the birth of his second son. His leadership skills quickly earned him a promotion to Vice President in 1991. By 1998, he purchased O’Neill Transfer & Storage from a third-generation family member, preserving the company’s long-standing tradition of exceptional service.
Under his leadership, O’Neill Transfer & Storage has achieved significant milestones. In 2005, Bradley purchased the warehouse that the company had occupied for seven years, solidifying its operational base. By 2006, O’Neill Transfer & Storage was recognized as a top-five hauler for Allied Van Lines, a testament to Bradley’s ability to grow and strengthen the company. In 2020, O’Neill became an agent for Wheaton/Bekins, and in July 2021, the company was honored as the Agent of the Month.
Bradley also shares his wealth of experience through blogs and videos, offering practical advice on topics such as packing techniques, logistics, and moving best practices. His dedication to the moving industry and the community of Portland is reflected in his hands-on approach and the longevity of his team’s service, with some staff having been with the company for decades.
In addition to making a difference in the moving industry, Bradley and his wife of 44 years support and donate to charities such as Portland’s Salvation Army, the American Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and Washington County Animal Shelter. The lovely couple have four children and six grandchildren. Bradley’s love for his family and commitment to the community is directly reflected in his personable approach to strengthening the moving industry.
